Role Description The Elementary School Teacher is a full-time, in office position based in Edmonton, AB. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing classroom routines, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, monitoring student progress, and providing regular feedback. The teacher will communicate with families and colleagues, participate in school meetings and professional development, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves collaborating on school initiatives, maintaining accurate records,



and supporting extracurricular or enrichment activities as needed.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Elementary Education and general Education principles, with experience teaching at the primary or junior level.
- Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, differentiated instruction, and assessment for learning.
- Experience with Curriculum Development, including planning units, creating lesson plans, and aligning content with learning outcomes.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.
- Relevant teaching certification or licensure, and a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Ability to create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment and support diverse learning styles and needs.
- Proficiency with basic educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and record-keeping.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning, collaboration with staff, and adherence to school policies and safeguarding practices.
