Materials Control Technician

Our client is seeking a Materials Control Technician to join their team.

As a Materials Control Technician, you will be part of the Materials Management Department supporting operations at the Corunna site.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Description:**
Operate and maintain equipment related to material handling, including forklifts and rail cars
Unload transport trailers and move product additives using forklift trucks
Build, stage, and store boxes with products in the warehouse, managing SAP functions
Monitor inventory levels and provide feedback to ensure raw materials are adequately stocked
Participate in safety protocols including drug & alcohol testing, mask fit testing, and drivers abstract requirements
**Qualifications:**
Secondary/High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience operating forklifts is an asset
Proficient computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Robust commitment to safety and Responsible Care® principles
