Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, Newfound Mechanical, is seeking to fill Plumber positions (Journeyman or 3rd/4th year Apprentices), to work at job sites located in Atlantic Canada (mainly Nova Scotia).

Position Overview:

Journeyperson Plumber

As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will work across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites, contributing your expertise to complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with mechanical plumbing and heating systems
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine system layouts for water supply, drainage, and waste systems
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes, permits, and safety regulations
- Identify and recommend areas for system improvements




- Supervise and mentor apprentice plumbers as required

Apprentice Plumber

As an Apprentice you will gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled journeypersons on commercial plumbing projects, ensuring all work is completed to code.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist journeypersons with daily tasks on job sites
- Work with various piping systems and materials
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project leads, while demonstrating initiative and leadership skills
- Acquire tools and supplies as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

- Appropriate credentials and certifications (where applicable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay:



$33.80-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
