What is the opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Vancouver Royal Center is looking for an Associate to provide concierge level administrative support to a successful Advisory Team.
You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team.
What will you do?
Daily administrative support to the Advisor and their team
Coordinate and prepare meetings for your Advisor with their clients/prospects.
Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
Coordinate the steps and processes for new client onboarding.
Help manage incoming communications from clients.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
Help update team’s communication channels: websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters.
All other administrative duties as required
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Exceptional verbal and written communication in both English and Mandarin
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) or Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
High level of time management and organization skills
Demonstrated skills in providing world‑class client service that will come across as skilled, warm, and friendly to our clients
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Comfortable performing administrative duties in a fast‑paced environment
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
1-3 years’ experience in the securities industry is an asset

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.
The expected base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
