Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Fire Alarm Technician ensures programming, inspection, maintenance, and emergency service of fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Programming, inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems
Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection
Preparation of inspection, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner
Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis
Success Factors Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist or other relevant training
5 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire alarm systems
CFAA certification (robust asset)
Alberta Journeyperson Certification as an Electrician
Working knowledge in programming fire alarm systems
Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset)
Valid driver's license
Ability to work well independently
