Concord Parking is searching for an energetic, highly organized Parking Enforcement Officer to join our parking enforcement team.
Parking Enforcement Officers are safety-focused mobile License Plate Recognition (LPR) patrollers responsible for enforcing parking regulations within designated areas. They proactively monitor and respond to parking violations, issue accurate and detailed citations,
and gather supporting evidence to ensure compliance with parking policies.
In this role, officers document observations and enforcement activities through clear and thorough reports, investigate complaints using sound judgment and problem-solving skills, and maintain professional, courteous relationships with customers, clients, vendors, and the public. They serve as ambassadors of the organization by delivering excellent customer service while ensuring a safe, fair, and compliant parking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide parking enforcement for client sites based on permits, time restrictions, and parking accuracy.
Correctly scan vehicle license plates and Operate Autovu (Patroller) for patrolling sites and use the provided handheld device to issue accurate and concise violation tickets to vehicles in accordance with parking plans and site rules.
Investigate complaints, assess violations, determine remedial actions, and enforce parking with impartiality, sound judgment, and discretion.
Monitor sites, record, and prepare accurate and detailed activity and incident reports.
Accurately complete all required reports and/or paperwork for each shift, such as Vehicle Inspection Form and Tracktik Run Sheets
Provide excellent customer service, and parking lot information,
such as the location of pay stations or how to use a pay station to permit users and visitors
Observe all relevant traffic and safety regulations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving abstract
Proficient in English (written and verbal), other languages an asset.
Attention to detail, investigative skills, and the ability to gather evidence are essential.
Computer and technology skills: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to use handheld technology to access software databases.
Ability to follow safe working practices, policies, and procedures.
Ability to confidently read maps and travel safely and efficiently to specific locations.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, heat, snow) on foot patrol.
Ability to wear a uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Full-time Position (5 days per week) Shift start time may vary between 630 am to 10 am, each shift is 8 hrs (40 hours a week)
Starting wage: $20.00 per hour
Areas of Mobile Patrol: Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver, Surrey and Vancouver.
Foot patrol and working outside in all weather conditions is required.
Candidates must be be adaptable enough to start in North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey or Vancouver.
Candidates must have a class 5 driver's license, a clean driving abstract, this will be evidenced with submissions in the screening process.
