Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a seasoned Enterprise Infrastructure Automation Architect to drive the strategy, design, and implementation of automated infrastructure solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments.
This individual will provide technical guidance to a team of infrastructure professionals while developing scalable standards for infrastructure provisioning, software deployment, patching, configuration management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and compliance monitoring across Windows and Linux ecosystems.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of infrastructure and automation specialists.
Design and implement a standardized enterprise deployment framework across Windows and Linux environments.
Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines that support build, test, deployment, validation, and rollback activities.
Establish governance models for patch management, compliance reporting, and change management integration.
Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using modern automation and source control practices.
Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, project stakeholders, and technical teams.

Transition from manual installation, patching, and validation activities to a fully automated CI/CD-driven infrastructure deployment model based on code commits, automated testing, deployment, validation, and reporting.

Testing and validation requirements
Rollback and recovery procedures
Compliance and audit reporting
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Maintain server configurations in source control repositories and automate provisioning using tools such as Azure Dev
Ops, Git, Terraform, Ansible, and related deployment technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Master's degree is considered an asset.
Up to 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, and enterprise automation.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Strong experience with Windows and Linux server administration, cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and strategic recommendations to executive and technical leadership audiences.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work workplace requiring on-site attendance two days per week (Monday and Wednesday)
