**Job Title: Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician to join our team as a service and installation technician specializing in dock doors.

This role involves performing service calls and installations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and requires a proactive approach to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
**Responsibilities**
Perform service calls and installations of dock doors across the GTA.

Transport and manage tools in the vehicle to ensure all tasks are completed properly.

Accurately read and interpret basic blueprints.

Work at heights and operate scissor lifts safely during installation and servicing tasks.

Utilize hand and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance.

Ensure all safety protocols and certifications are adhered to during operations.

Engage in occasional night or weekend service calls as required.
**Essential Skills**
Proficiency in dock door and industrial door installations.

Experience with hand and power tools.

Ability to work at heights and operate scissor lifts.

Competency in reading and interpreting basic blueprints.

Experience in rigging and operating forklifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Forklift certification.

Valid safety certifications.

**Work Environment**
This role primarily operates during the day shift from 7 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility of occasional night or weekend service calls.

The work involves physical tasks and requires adherence to safety standards while working with various tools and equipment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
