Insight Global is seeking a Java Developer for one of our enterprise retail clients.

This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and services that support critical retail operations and customer-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience building cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot, developing RESTful APIs, and working within modern Dev

Ops and Agile environments.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, QA, Dev

Ops, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that drive business value.

Skills and Requirements
-2+ years of backend development experience, specifically within Java v. 17-21+.
-Experience developing REST APIs.
-Hands-on experience with: Spring Boot
Spring MVC
Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
-Experience designing and implementing Microservices Architectures.
-Strong understanding of SQL and relational database design in addition to PostgreSQL.
-Experience working with: Docker
Kubernetes
Open

Shift
-Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure Dev

Ops.
-Robust knowledge of: OAuth2
SSL/TLS
-Experience working with JSON/XML data formats.
-Proficiency using IntelliJ IDEA and modern development tools.
-Experience within Agile/Scrum development environments. -Experience with Spring Security
-Experience deploying applications within Azure or AWS cloud environments.
