Hello! I live in the USA, but my 87yr old Italian father in Vancouver, British Columbia is seeking a part-time, live-out nanny to take him out to the occasional lunch or places nearby and engage in conversation. He is lonely, as most of his friends have passed, and he feels isolated because he mainly speaks Italian, but lives in a senior home with English/other language speakers.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about people and stories; my dad has lived a very compelling life and was a Creative Director at a big advertising agency in Milan. If you can help with occasional meal preparation so he doesn’t always have to eat the boring house food, that would be a bonus!
