Hello! We are a family in the village of Brentwood Bay located in Central Saanich, British Columbia, seeking a caring and dedicated nanny to become a part of our home. We are looking for someone who can provide full-time care for our infant son with hours covering the late morning, afternoon to evening with a preferred four days on four days off schedule, based on 8-10 hour days, covering both weekdays and weekends, mirroring parents work schedule.

Occasional overtime may be required with minimal notice and would be compensated accordingly.

We are open to both live-in and live-out arrangements, depending on what suits you best. Our priority is to find someone who genuinely loves working with infants and can provide a nurturing and safe setting for our son.

The position starting offer is $22 per hour and may be discussed based on experience and live in or live out option.

Childcare expectations would cover;

- Feeding and food prep for infant,
- Playtime and age appropriate interaction,
- Changing diapers as needed,
- Outside play/walks daily (weather depending),
- Following loose nap schedule and set bedtime routine,
- Minimal screen time exposure,
- Maintaining used spaces in a resonably tidy manner including cleaning infants dishes used during the day, and cleaning spills/messes that may occur.





While childcare is the primary focus, further wage increases can be discussed based on other household assistance available by the right candidate. Assistance with family laundry, cooking, and/or cleaning can be assessed in the original contract or on an ongoing basis with an increased salary expectation.
