About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead one of its mission-critical businesses in the education and childcare software space. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the next phase of growth, steering the product portfolio, evolving the operating model, deepening customer value, and owning performance and outcomes.

This role demands a hands-on leader with a proven track record in scaling and growing software businesses, a strong commercial instinct, and the ability to lead across product, operations, and finance.



The Managing Director will be expected to build and develop a high-performing team, with a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement, all while being customer-obsessed.

Candidates for the Managing Director position should have a background as a CEO, Managing Director, COO, VP, or General Manager with full P&L; ownership of a software or technology business. The role requires a leader with a strong new-product track record, experience in team leadership, and a comfort with emerging technologies, including AI.
The ideal candidate will be an empathetic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented individual, capable of both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an MBA or advanced degree being a strong asset.
