We’re looking for an attentive, caring, experienced part-time nanny & household assistant to join our family for the next two to three years.

This is a hybrid role that combines childcare with helping keep our home running smoothly. Some days will focus primarily on household responsibilities such as cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, organizing, and running errands, while others will be centred around caring for our two-year-old daughter.

We're looking for someone who enjoys both aspects of the role and takes pride in maintaining a calm, organized home.

We value initiative, structure, and reliability, and hope to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our family’s daily routine.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

8am to 4pm est.

We can accommodate schedule adjustments with proper notice.

About the role:

We have a two-year-old daughter and an infant son. One parent is home most of the time, primarily caring for our infant. Your primary childcare responsibilities will focus on our daughter, while also helping with household responsibilities throughout the week.

Mondays will be dedicated primarily to household responsibilities. Tuesdays and Thursdays will focus primarily on childcare.

Childcare Responsibilities: Providing attentive, engaging care for our toddler

Preparing snacks and meals.
Diaper changes and toilet training.
Following nap schedules.
Reading, crafts, educational activities, and outdoor play.
Children's laundry.

Keeping play areas tidy and organized

Household Responsibilities: Meal planning and grocery shopping





Preparing family dinners and occasional lunches
Kitchen cleanup
General household tidying and organization.
Vacuuming and mopping.
Laundry and changing bed linens.
Organizing toys, closets, and household spaces.
Running household errands.

Keeping household suppliers stocked.

Qualifications: Several years of professional nanny, or early childhood experience.

Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Comfortable using your vehicle for errands and grocery shopping (mileage will be reimbursed).
Excellent references.
Squeaky clean background checks.

Non-smoker.
