Looking for part time help every Friday from approx. 10am-2pm to help assist my 68 year old mother with tasks around the house.

I have been part time living with her and assisting her but will be moving a bit up north and visiting her once weekly. She currently has a house cleaner that comes every 3 weeks - so deep cleaning is not necessary, just tidying when need be. She will however need assistance with the following things at her home:

- Putting out garbage bag(s) or recycling in the morning when/if needed & bin retrieved from road before leaving (if they have been picked up)
- Wash/dry/fold one load of her clothing and put on top of her dresser
- Bi-weekly washing/changing of her sheets
- Emptying kitchen garbage and her bathroom garbage can.
- Emptying small recycling bin in kitchen and laundry room.
- Pet care (2 friendly cats) - cleaning 2 wood pellet litter boxes, making sure feeder and water fountain is full
- Restock drinks in fridge and coffee pods on counter from pantry
- When needed wipe occasional spills on counter, floor, and refrigerator. (Her MS can sometimes make her shaky)
- Receive and put away Walmart grocery delivery if she has ordered one
- Potentially if needed pick up things for her at the plaza 2 mins away (Not necessary but if willing would be helpful for prescriptions and other wanted items)




- Assist her while you are here if she would like another coffee or snack.
- Prepare a couple easy lunches for Friday and Saturday. (easy deli meat sandwich will suffice)
- Cut up celery for her if there is any in the fridge to do so

Looks like a big list however not all of these will need to be done weekly. Would like someone helpful who can see what needs to be done in the home. If tasks are completed or waiting on laundry, feel free to sit and chat with my mom, watch tv, have a coffee, and just keep her company for a little bit.

The position offers $20 per hour, and I am looking for someone who can commit to a regular schedule every Friday. (4 hours weekly)

My mother is a kind and calm women who mostly enjoys her cats and watching tv. I hope to find a compassionate person who doesn't mind chatting with her a bit and keeping her company even though they are helping with tasks. She is very much sound of mind, just limited in her physical capabilities but still wanting to stay in her home.
