Ready to make impact? The clerk is required to deliver exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring that their workspace is attractive and in valuable condition at all times. Here's where you will be focusing : Receive, process, select and merchandise fresh produce, packaged bulk foods, and packaged fruits and vegetables. Build and maintain end cap displays, perimeter displays, seasonal displays, set shelving in accordance with Department Presentation Standards.

Perform Ordering, cycle counting, temperature checking, and inventory control functions as required. Maintain the rotation, cleanliness, and organization of the stockroom, walk-in cooler, fixtures, equipment, and the departmental sales floor.

Electronic and paper-based shelf labels, ensuring accurate pricing, promotions, and country-of-origin are displayed as required. Maintain the flow of the stockroom, ensure returns, salvage, cardboard bales, empty totes and pallets are packed into warehouse-bound trailer daily.

Minor repairs, hanging signs, washing and cleaning of floors, shelves, windows, cleaning the parking lot, retrieving carts and baskets.Garbage and cardboard, look after refuse, bailing cardboard. Check-stand/ cashiering duties as required.

When cashiering:



Handle cash and other payment methods (debit cards, cheques, etc.) and make deposits according to established policies.

When cashiering: Balance the cash register.

When cashiering: Bag items according to established standards. Meet productivity standards (sales/hour, entries/minute). Provide exceptional and attentive customer service. Keep work areas and uniform clean and well-maintained. Use equipment and supplies in a secure and effective manner. Comply with established food safety and hygiene standards. Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications: A high school diploma is a valuable asset. Knowledge of the cash register system is a major asset. You are customer service-oriented. You foster communication and team spirit. You are available to work various shifts during business hours. You stand out for your interpersonal skills, energy and ability to work under pressure.
