My wife and I are looking for a part-time nanny.

We have a daughter almost 1 year old.

We are looking for someone that can:

- Play with her
- Speak with her in Spanish
- Cook food and prepare meals
- Feed her and clean up feeding
- Take the child for walks and to the park. Special attention to vehicles is critical for safety.
- Bathe the baby
- Intervene if the child chokes, and prevent the child from putting dangerous things in her mouth or touching dangerous things.
- Exercise authority as caretaker over the child (the baby isn't boss, you are the boss as an adult)
- Lift the baby as needed (she is less than 1 year old and cannot walk yet or grows tired)
- Some tidying and sweeping - mainly for things the child can put in her mouth

Nice-to-have if you can provide any of these:

- You are willing to learn from us (the parents)



the sign language we have taught the baby and are still teaching her. She cannot speak yet or walk but she can crawl and stand a bit.
- Teach her some spanish words and phrases.
- Provide some educational stimulation for her mind for her learning.
- More cleaning or housekeeping

Expected hours: Initially 12-18 hrs/week

Later in the Summer and Fall possibly 20-25 hrs/week

We are a kind family. Husband is Spanish, wife is Filipina. We are working part time, sometimes full-time, and looking for assistance with the baby. Thank you.
