We are a family in Waterdown, Ontario, seeking a dedicated nanny to take care of our 2 year old daughter for 12 months. The hours would be from 8:30-4:30 weekdays. Our current nanny is moving on to pursue her university education in September.

We are looking for someone with experience in infant care who can provide a nurturing and safe workplace for our little one. We also have a 6 year old son who will need some minding outside of school hours (9-3). We generally have the 6 year old in camps for most of the summer.

Both parents work from home in the basement full time.

This is a live-out position, and we offer a competitive rate of $20 per hour. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation for the kids, weekly laundry for the kids, and tidying of the childrens' play areas.

A focus on our daughter's happiness and health is by far the most important quality in our ideal candidate.

Additionally,



we have a tiny little 15 year old teacup maltese/yorkie dog who is hypoallergenic and does not shed, she is very quiet these days and mostly sleeps the day away.

A driver's license and your own car is required, though for any outings with the children we ask that you drive our cars, and we may request periodic help with school pickups and drop offs.

It is important to us that our nanny is CPR certified.

We intend on placing her in a Montessori daycare as her brother was so any experience with that pedagogy is appreciated.
