Part-Time Nanny & Household Assistant

Location: Edmonton/ southwest

Pay: $20/hour - We often give our current nanny very generous cash tips if we go out for the evening and she stays late.

We are looking for a reliable and caring nanny to join our family for approximately **20–25 hours per week**.

Regular hours:

Monday–Thursday 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Saturday: Mid-morning to afternoon (exact hours to be discussed)

There may also be opportunities for **additional babysitting or extra hours** depending on the week and my school schedule.

About Our Family

We are a warm, busy family looking for someone who will become an important part of our home. My husband is a working skilled with long hours, and I am currently a full-time student. We have two wonderful children—a **5-year-old** and a **3-year-old**—who are fun, active, and love spending time outdoors, reading, playing, and doing crafts.

We also have a friendly dog. Pet care would be minimal and may only include letting the dog outside or keeping an eye on them while you're here.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is comfortable helping with both childcare and keeping our household running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

- Providing attentive, nurturing care for our two children
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and play
- Preparing healthy snacks and straightforward family meals




- Meal preparation for the family
- Children's laundry and occasional household laundry
- Washing dishes and cleaning up after meals
- Light housekeeping and tidying throughout the home
- Helping with general household organization
- Assisting with evening routines as needed

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Previous childcare experience
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are an asset
