Hi there! We are a warm, busy family in Calgary looking for an experienced, reliable, and active nanny to help care for our two young children, ages 2 and 3.

This is a part-time position under 20 hours per week, with 20 hours being the maximum. One of the biggest benefits of this role is that we are very versatile with scheduling. Because of the nature of my work, we can usually build the schedule around the right person’s availability.

We are looking for someone who wants consistent part-time work but may need flexibility week to week.

Our children are happy, energetic, curious, and very active. They love being out and about, going for walks, visiting parks, attending activities, playing outside, and having fun. We are not looking for someone who wants to simply sit at home with them.

We need someone who genuinely enjoys toddlers, has lots of energy, and is confident creating a safe, fun, and engaging day for them.

The right person for our family will be kind, patient, dependable, warm, and experienced. We are looking for someone who understands toddler behaviour, can set gentle but firm boundaries, and can keep the kids busy with age-appropriate activities.

Requirements:

You must have:

- At least 3 years of experience working with toddlers
- Experience in a professional childcare setting, such as daycare, nannying, or regular babysitting




- A valid driver’s licence
- Comfort driving children to activities, parks, or outings
- Your own reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid is strongly preferred
- A clean background check or willingness to provide one
- Strong references from previous childcare roles

Please do not apply if you have less than 3 years of toddler experience, if you have not worked in a professional childcare setting, or if you are not comfortable driving children.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibility is caring for our two toddlers and keeping them safe, happy, and engaged.

Duties may include:

- Planning fun and age-appropriate activities
- Taking the children outside, to parks, or to local activities
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the kids
- Helping with nap/rest time routines
- Tidying up after the children
- Children’s laundry
- Keeping play areas organized
- Light household duties related to the children

We reimburse mileage when you are driving the children.
