Accountant. This job is full time permanent.Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, your role will consist of recording and monitoring financial accounting transactions while supporting the corporate accounting function.Your challenges:
Prepare accounting entriesPerform month-end closing processes, including:Intercompany reconciliationsMonth-end reportingAnalyze various balance sheet accountsSupport analysis of financing expenses as well as environmental and legal provisionsParticipate in meetings with other departments to discuss and follow up on issues identified through reconciliations and analysesContribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budget preparationAssist in year-end tax forms and financial reporting preparationYour skills:
Strong interest in learning and acquiring new skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProactive, with a collaborative team-oriented approachYour profile:
Bilingual French and English (Required for all Corporate Positions)*University degree in Accounting (completed or in progress)Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar roleProfessional designation (CPA) is an assetProficiency in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of GAAP and SAP (FI/CO) is considered an assetWhat we are offering
