Requirements

- Basic qualifications to teach in the Intermediate and Senior Division –Social Sciences
- Basic qualifications to teach in the Intermediate division –
- Religion and Business

Preferred Requirements

- Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in the listed divisions and subject areas.
- Ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic education and integrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations within the curriculum.
- Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom and D2L Brightspace, as well as additional G-Suite digital tools, EDSBY and CVO courses on the VLE to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents.
- Demonstrated knowledge of how students learn effectively with a repertoire of proven instructional and assessment practices.
- Commitment to supporting the use of technology in instruction and learning, and to promoting an workplace of innovation and creativity that engages the 21st century learner.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaboration around the school's Student Achievement Plan through school-based PLC's, department meetings, co-planning and co-teaching.
- Knowledge,



experience and proven ability in utilizing differentiated instructional approaches within the classroom that support well-being, equity and inclusion.
- Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies.
- Flexibility to be assigned in other subject areas as the need arises.
- Willingness to actively assume extra-curricular duties.
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school community.
