Join our dynamic team as a 310T or 310S Truck and Trailer Technician, where your mechanical expertise will keep heavy-duty trucks and trailers operating at peak performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency on the road.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on trucks and trailers, including engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspensions.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Conduct heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed; ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with the assembly of new equipment or components as needed; participate in routine maintenance tasks to prevent future issues.




- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician specializing in heavy-duty trucks or trailers; dealership experience is highly valued.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, schematics reading, and industrial equipment operation.
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools, power tools, welding techniques, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC systems related to vehicle climate control is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately; excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy components regularly; comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service; team-oriented attitude with a strong safety mindset.
