We’re a specialist recruitment firm focused exclusively on the Mechanical and Electrical construction and engineering industry in Canada. We support contractors and engineering firms across the full project lifecycle, from field leadership through to senior management. If it’s a Mechanical or Electrical hire, we handle it.

After building a strong foundation across British Columbia, we're now actively expanding into Alberta and looking for someone to help establish and grow our presence across the province. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level and become one of the founding members of our Alberta operation, backed by an established team, proven processes, existing clients, and a growing reputation in the market.

Our head office is based in Vancouver. Rightway Recruitment was founded by two recruiters with over 20 years of combined recruitment and sales experience. We built the business to be the opposite of a corporate agency: no nonsense, no unnecessary layers, and no fake KPIs. Just genuine people doing honest recruitment and being properly rewarded for the work they put in.

In our first year, we tripled our original growth targets. Since launching 2 years ago, we've completed more than 50 placements and built strong partnerships with some of the most respected contractors and engineering firms across British Columbia. We recently expanded onto Vancouver Island, and our newest recruiter has made six placements in her first twelve weeks, reinforcing the demand we're seeing across the market.





We're deeply embedded in the industry and are currently the only recruitment company involved with the Mechanical Contractors Association of BC (MCABC). We regularly attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions because we believe great recruitment starts with genuine industry relationships.

The Role:

As a 360 Recruitment Consultant based out of Calgary, you'll play a key role in building our Alberta market, developing your own desk within the Mechanical & Electrical construction sector while helping establish Rightway Recruitment's presence across the province.

You'll work with both current and existing clients across contracting and engineering, supported by a brand that is quickly gaining traction in the industry.

This is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up while having the support of experienced founders, established systems, and an existing client network behind you.

What You'll Do:

You'll manage your desk end-to-end, including:

- Winning new clients
- Building long-term relationships
- Taking job briefs
- Sourcing and interviewing candidates
- Presenting shortlists
- Managing the recruitment process
- Negotiating offers and closing placements

We are a relationship-led business, so face-to-face meetings and industry involvement are key. You'll also have access to top tools, including JobAdder, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo,



Indeed and our internal database.

You'll be supported directly by the founders and encouraged to bring your own ideas, approaches, and ways of working.

To Be Successful:

You'll likely have:

- Experience in a 360 recruitment role
- Construction industry exposure (preferred)
- A track record of billing $300K+
- The ability to build and develop client relationships

What You'll Get:

Compensation package:

- $55K–$65K base salary
- OTE of $140K–$150K+
- 40% uncapped commission
- Simple commission structure with no complicated thresholds or commission bands
