Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team; in the Acheson, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove region. This role is responsible for supporting full-cycle accounting and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring robust technical accounting skills, experience in financial statement preparation, and a proactive approach to process improvement within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

- Record transactions and prepare financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Analyze financial statements and reports, to identify trends and discrepancies
- Assist with preparing Year-End Reports
- Provide support to the team with ad hoc tasks

Your Strengths Include





- Diploma or degree in Accounting; pursuing or has CPA designation
- Intermediate Excel skills: data mining, complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset
- Proven experience as an Accountant, with minimum 2 years of experience required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
