THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Accounting Administrator, you will support the day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, and operational functions of the company. You will work closely with management, employees, customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that financial records, payments, documentation, and administrative processes are accurate and properly maintained.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.
- Additional languages are considered an asset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, journal entries, and financial transactions.
- Process invoices,



payments, customer receipts, collections, and vendor accounts accurately and on a timely basis.
- Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, bookkeeping records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and required adjusting entries.
- Prepare and assist with GST/HST filings, remittances, and other tax-related accounting requirements.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue balances, and assist with credit and collections activities.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll, employee, vacation, attendance, and related documentation.
- Maintain confidential employee records and personnel files and support employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Manage incoming emails, telephone calls, correspondence, filing, and general office administration.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain company documents, records, reports, and administrative files.
- Coordinate communications and documentation with customers, vendors, suppliers, service providers, and internal departments.
- Maintain and reconcile inventory and product records, including stock monitoring and coordination with warehouse operations.
- Assist management with reports, scheduling, operational projects, and other administrative and accounting-related initiatives.
- Provide general support to management and other departments and perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting administration, office administration, or a related role.




- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is an asset.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively to a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or a related field is an asset.
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are an asset.
- Satisfactory credit history may be required due to the financial nature of the position.
