Accounting Clerk

Accoun****ting Clerk - Full time

Location: Mississauga, ON.

Assessmed is looking for the right individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk in a dynamic, high volume, multi-location organization. The role requires expertise in full cycle AR and AP, namely coding, data entry and approvals.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours:

- Proven ability to accurately handle high volume of transactions, meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast paced setting
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Commitment to delivering quality customer service supported by strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of people and answer queries in a professional manner
- Flexible team player with the ability to function independently while working in a team environment
- Must be reliable, with a strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Must possess strong organizational and time management skills





Other key qualifications:

- Excellent knowledge of AR and AP Processes and Procedures
- Experience in processing and analyzing large volumes of data
- Strong computer skills in Excel and Word
- Must be highly detail oriented and organized
- Must be able to understand organization priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives
- Ability to work effectively during times of organizational stress, ambiguity and change
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance creativity, problem solving and results
- Prior experience in working with ACCPAC/Doclink/ Smart Simple would be advantageous.
