Pateno Payments is seeking an accounting student to join its team. The position would be full time, Monday – Friday, based out of our Calgary, AB office, reporting directly to the Controller.

Education, Experience and Skills:

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Skilled communication and teamwork skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision





· High level of integrity and commitment to quality work

Specific Responsibilities:

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

· Perform weekly cheque runs and related payment administration

· Assist with entering monthly journal entries into Sage Intacct

· Support monthly bank reconciliations and investigate variances

· Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by the Finance team

· Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes

Pay: $16.15 per hour
