We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, communicates effectively, and is committed to providing evidence-informed treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans.
- Provide acupuncture treatments based on each patient's condition, goals, and clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and treatment notes.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, progress, and home-care recommendations.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment.
- Follow all applicable professional, regulatory, infection-control,
and clinic policies.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body in Alberta.
- Diploma/degree in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are welcome to apply.
