Administrative Assistant

Hours: four days per week: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Salary: $42,150.58 – $52,688.23

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: 12-month contract with an opportunity to continue to grow within the organization.

POSITION DETAILS:

The Administrative Assistant will work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Responsibilities are to provide customer service and administration support by maintaining front reception,

responding to inquiries, coordinating mail, processing payments, and ensuring the efficient day to day operation of the office. This role is also responsible for coordinating meetings, travel,

events, office supplies, and the Authority’s Hunting Program. This position reports to the Director of Finance.

WHAT YOU OFFER:

- Similar experience in an administrative, receptionist or related role is an asset.
- Experience providing customer service, including answering telephones, assisting the public,

scanning documents, processing payments, and maintaining filing systems.




- Experience processing payments using electronic payment systems (e.g., Moneris)
- Experience coordinating meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, and event logistics.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Teams, etc.) applications, with experience maintaining databases and records (e.g., Excel).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is a significant asset.
- Valid Class “G” Driver’s License.

LOCATION:

The SNC office is in a rural location in Finch, Ontario, southeast of Ottawa. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation.
