Jilly Beans Childcare is seeking an individual who is enthusiastic, creative, and organized to help prepare and lead our afterschool program. The individual will also assist in the summer program for our school-age children.

Responsibilities

*Working closely with co-educator to plan, prepare, and create activities and projects for children ages 5-10 years of age.

*Maintain a positive, clean, and welcoming environment for the health and safety of all children.

*Be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.

*Ensure safety of all children both indoors and outdoors.

*Willingness to attend staff trainings, workshops, and educator meetings.

Requested Qualifications





*Early Childhood Education diploma and/or experience working with school age children in a center based or outdoor based environment would be a solid asset.

*Current First Aid with CPR-C

*Clear criminal record, vulnerable sector check, and social development check.

*We have an outdoor focus so a passion for the outdoors in all types of weather is required.

Hours: Monday - Friday 1:30-5:30

Full days on school PD days, school closure days, Christmas and March Break, and Summer.
