Role: AI Engineer – RAG & Agentic AI

Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada — Work From Office

Experience: 10 + years

Contract: 12 months plus

An AI Engineer / GenAI Developer who can build RAG pipelines and Agentic AI systems using Python , with robust hands-on development rather than just prompt engineering.

Mandatory Skills

- Python – strong fundamentals, async programming, concurrency, performance tuning
- RAG – custom chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, re-ranking, retrieval
- Agentic AI – tool calling, working memory, state management, deterministic workflows
- Prompt Engineering – structured prompts, reasoning scaffolds, context engineering
- FastAPI – hands-on development of AI microservices
- Pydantic & JSON Schema – structured/deterministic extraction
- LLM APIs / HTTP Clients – raw API calls and minimal-framework AI development
- Testing & Debugging – unit testing, RAG regression testing, prompt debugging
- Observability – tracing, logging, token and latency monitoring
- Google GECX – knowledge/experience required
