Role Description The Analyst – M&A; Origination is a full time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON. This position focuses on supporting buy-side M&A; origination through detailed research on target companies, industries, and market dynamics.





The analyst will work along side the team to go to market with outreach efforts through email, cold calls, and other channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to deal qualification, preparing summaries and reports for clients, and ensuring all communications with potential targets are well researched and professional. The analyst will collaborate closely with deal teams to support outreach strategies and maintain a high standard of accuracy, discretion, and timeliness across all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with internal stakeholders and business owners.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced deal environment.
- Comfort working with data tools, CRMs, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
- Interest in M&A;, private equity, corporate development, and relationship-driven deal origination.
