Grey Bruce Contracting is hiring a motivated 2nd-year or higher 403A Apprentice Carpenter to join our residential renovation and construction team in Owen Sound and Grey-Bruce.

You’ll gain hands-on experience alongside experienced carpenters while building skills in framing, renovations, finish work, and general construction. We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the trade.

Responsibilities

- Assist with framing, decks, flooring, trim, doors, windows, and finish carpentry
- Support renovation work, demolition, drywall backing, blocking, and site preparation
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Take measurements, follow plans, and keep jobsites clean and organized
- Work professionally with the crew, trades, and homeowners

Qualifications




- Registered 403A Apprentice Carpenter, 2nd year or higher
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools preferred
- Able to safely lift and carry construction materials
- Reliable, punctual, safety-minded, and willing to learn
- WHMIS and Working at Heights certification are assets
