Speedy Auto Service Ottawa Central has an immediate opening for an Apprentice Mechanic (with Validation Card) and experience to join our team for a position to grow with our company.

: Apprentice Technician

Understand all aspects of the Service Operation;

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned;

Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required;

Assist with technical issues as needed;

Maintain a safe and productive working environment;

Update Service Work Order regarding problems and work performed;

Use all safety precautions to prevent injuries, accidents and damage to equipment and personnel;

Assist in general upkeep and maintenance of the service centre;

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

Apprentice Technician (with Validation Card)





Ability to communicate technical information and pay attention to detail;

Valid G License with clean driving record ( Driver Abstract required);

Excellent problem solving skills;

Willing to learn as a part of further personal development;

Own toolbox and tools

Required Skills & Experience:

Have knowledge and experience with all equipment associated with seasonal tire change overs;

Ability to pay attention to detail.

Salary: Remuneration commensurate with experience.

Work Location: In person. Monday to Friday, no weekends.
