Apprentice Electricians – 1st to 4th Year

We’re Hiring!
Our electrical company is looking for motivated and hardworking Apprentice Electricians to join our growing team. We are currently accepting applications from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year apprentices.
Whether you're just starting your electrical career or nearing completion of your apprenticeship, we're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, take pride in their work, and want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade.
Position Requirements
- Registered Alberta Electrical Apprentice – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year
- Valid Alberta driver's license
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics
- Willingness to learn and develop conduit bending skills
- Basic understanding of electrical tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn and stay current with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Basic electrical training and theory
- Ability to follow instructions and direction from Journeyman Electricians
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work safely and follow company safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with electrical installations, service, and maintenance
- Learn and develop proper conduit bending and installation techniques
- Assist with pulling wire and cable
- Install electrical devices, equipment, panels, and components under appropriate supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Learn proper electrical troubleshooting and installation practices
- Maintain a clean,
organized, and safe work area
- Properly use and maintain hand and power tools
- Follow the direction of Journeyman Electricians and supervisors
- Learn and apply the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable Alberta electrical regulations
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
- Continue developing trade knowledge and skills throughout the apprenticeship

The ideal candidate understands that an apprenticeship is about developing both practical skills and electrical knowledge. We want people who are willing to ask questions, learn from experienced electricians, and take on new challenges as their skills progress.
All levels are welcome – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year apprentices.
