Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision to assemble piping and fixtures
- Support the setup of construction sites by preparing materials and organizing work areas
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks to ensure plumbing systems operate efficiently and safely
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or issues promptly
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; a robust interest in mechanical systems, construction, or trades is preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in plumbing work
- Familiarity with construction environments or hands-on experience with tools is advantageous
- Ability to read schematics or technical drawings is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided
- Willingness to learn new skills such as blueprint reading, and maintenance procedures
