Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber (3rd or 4th year) to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to pursue a rewarding career in plumbing — with the added prospect to specialize in geothermal and renewable energy systems.

The Apprentice

Plumber will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and gaining hands-on experience in an industry that's only growing. The ideal candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, and have basic knowledge of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and geothermal systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand plumbing and system layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Help with the assembly and installation of pipes,



fittings, and fixtures.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in welding tasks as needed for pipe connections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols while on job sites.

Experience

- Basic understanding of plumbing principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic plumbing issues.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and fittings.
- Experience reading blueprints is a plus but not mandatory.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the plumbing trade — and an interest in renewable energy is a bonus.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
