Overview

GMS is looking for an experienced Asset Coordinator to assist the current Manager of Land Assets and Development of GMS. The Asset Coordinator supports the planning, administration, coordination and long-term management of land-based assets, commercial assets, tenant relations and asset development projects.

The Asset Coordinator assists with business park lease administration, tenant communications, project coordination, reporting, funding administration, procurement, record keeping, and coordination with internal departments, external partners, contractors, tenants, consultants, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

· Post Secondary education in Business Administration, project coordination, lands management, real estate, property management, planning, economic development, construction administration experience

· Experience in FN organizations, Indigenous organizations, government groups, contracting companies, community owned corporations or community economic development initiatives

· Experience in lease administration, lands, economic development,



construction coordination

· Experience in supporting finding applications, reporting, procurement, contracts, budgets or project documentation is considered an asset.

· Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

· Outstanding communication and people skills

· Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

· Extensive knowledge of MS Office and various business software (POS, e-business, etc.)

· Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and ability to travel

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
