Assistant Manager (AGM) – Holy Chuck

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, plus performance bonus

Location: Guelph, ON

Schedule: Approx. 40–45 hours/week; evenings, weekends, and holidays required

Opening: October 2026

We're opening a new Holy Chuck in Guelph this October — a fast-paced QSR burger concept built around high-quality food, great service, and an energetic vibe — and we're looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead the floor. You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager, run shifts as Manager-on-Duty, and be one of the founding faces of this location. Hiring now to have the team trained and ready ahead of opening.

What You'll Do

● Run shifts as Manager-on-Duty with full operational authority on the floor

● Support hiring, onboarding, and training of recent team members

● Coach and motivate the team day-to-day; help build weekly schedules

● Handle opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily sales reporting

● Keep food quality, consistency, and cleanliness on point

● Assist with inventory counts, ordering, and waste control

● Work any station when needed — grill, fryer, expo, cashier — this is a regular part of the role

● Keep guests happy and the dining room running clean and welcoming





What We're Looking For

● Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a QSR or high-volume restaurant is a plus

● A hands-on leader who's comfortable on the line, not just behind a clipboard

● Strong communication and problem-solving skills

● Cool under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment

● Open availability — evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay & Perks

● $20–$22/hour to start, based on experience, plus overtime per Ontario ESA

● First performance bonus at 6 months (covers the opening ramp-up as one window), then quarterly bonuses tied to shift execution and cost-control contribution

Physical Requirements

● Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

● Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
