We are looking for a qualified individual to work in a stem cell lab in a cutting-edge research environment. Reporting to the Principal Investigator and/or Lab Manager, the Research Assistant is responsible for applying straightforward technical knowledge and skills to perform well-defined, routine and/or repetitive tests, experiments or procedures.

Here Is What You Will Get To Do

- Perform routine physical, chemical and biological lab procedures.
- Prepare media, solutions, reagents, sections and slides, and do routine assays following prescribed methods.
- Be responsible for accuracy of techniques, using established policies and procedures to resolve routine problems.
- Some animal work, including weaning litters, general health checks, and genotyping.

Here's What You'll Need

- The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skill, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
- Experience maintaining Glioblastoma stem cells in culture, western blotting,



bioluminescence imaging (BLI) and previous animal handling experience is necessary.
- Prior experience with neural stem cell differentiation protocols or brain tumor models (e.g., glioblastoma stem-like cells) is considered an advantage.
- Prior experience with Incucyte use is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion objectives.
