Amici ("A-MEE-Key") Children's Camp Charity believes every child should have the opportunity to discover their full potential through the life-changing experience of overnight summer camp. Through the generosity of donors, partner camps, corporations and foundations, Amici provides children and youth in financial need with multi-year access to camp, creating lasting confidence, resilience,

friendships and belonging.

We're looking for an experienced fundraising leader. This is a senior leadership opportunity to guide

Amici's fundraising and communications while providing parental leave coverage and helping shape the future of Amici alongside an engaged Board of Directors, passionate volunteers and a collaborative staff team.

About Amici

Established in 1966, Amici partners with 50 Ontario Camps Association-accredited camps to provide life-changing camp experiences for children and youth in financial need. In 2026, Amici will support over 400 campers, providing over 800 weeks of camp across Ontario.





As a member of Amici's leadership team, you'll help maintain the momentum of our fundraising and communications while leading a talented team, strengthening donor relationships, and supporting the organization's continued growth.

What You'll Do

Working closely with the Executive Director, you'll:

- Lead the execution of Amici's fundraising strategy across individual, corporate and foundation giving, major gifts, and special events.
- Build and steward meaningful relationships with donors, partners, volunteers and community stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the fundraising team while fostering a collaborative and positive culture.
- Oversee fundraising operations, budgeting, reporting and CRM systems.
- Lead Amici's communications strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and stewardship across digital and print channels.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Amici with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications We're looking for someone with:

- Demonstrated success leading fundraising programs, developing strategy and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience leading and supporting staff and engaging volunteers.
- Robust major gift fundraising and relationship management experience.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic thinking,



sound judgment and excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to build authentic relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience using fundraising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; experience with Google Workspace is an asset.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
- A passion for the power of overnight camp is considered an asset.

Other Requirements This position includes occasional evening and weekend commitments to support fundraising events,

Board and committee meetings, and other organizational activities.
