Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Surrey for an Associate Instructor at La Vie Academy. In this role, you will lead hands-on and theory-based instruction for students across the full scope of medical aesthetic procedures, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, body contouring, and tattoo removal. You'll design and deliver lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, supervise and evaluate student performance in clinic settings, and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.

This role ensures students receive a well-rounded, industry-relevant educational experience, while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism with both students and clients at the academy.

Key Responsibilities

- Instruct and mentor students on medical aesthetic procedures: facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, body contouring, and tattoo removal
- Develop and deliver structured lesson plans and demonstrations for theory and practical sessions




- Supervise students during hands-on clinic practice, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support skill development for learners at varying levels
- Maintain a high standard of customer service for students and clients at the academy
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to ensure a consistent, high-quality curriculum
- Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and equipment to keep instruction leading-edge

Qualifications

- Education in Aesthetics or Medical Aesthetics.
- Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in the medical aesthetics industry
- Prior teaching, training, or mentorship experience is an asset
- Experience providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach and instruct a diverse group of students with varying skill levels and backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of the medical aesthetics industry and various procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting

Schedule & Pay

- Flexible schedule
- Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Paid time off
- Supplemental pay: Bonus pay, Commission pay

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
