Our client is seeking a Family Law Lawyer to join a respected and growing legal practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of family law matters and be eager to take on increasing responsibility, work directly with clients, and contribute to the continued success of a well-regarded practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a variety of family law matters, including separation, divorce, parenting, support, property division, and domestic contracts
- Provide practical, strategic legal advice to clients throughout all stages of family law proceedings
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, briefs, and court materials
- Conduct legal research and prepare written opinions and correspondence
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, case conferences, motions, and other court appearances as required
- Develop strong client relationships through responsive communication and effective advocacy
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and support staff to advance client matters efficiently




- Maintain organized case management practices and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment

Qualifications:

- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- 2+ years of experience practicing family law preferred; candidates with relevant experience at varying levels will be considered
- Robust understanding of Ontario family law legislation and court procedures
- Excellent legal drafting, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients during sensitive matters
- Demonstrated ability to manage files independently while working collaboratively within a team

Compensation

- Competitive base salary in the range of $100,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience
