This is a newly created role and will be pivotal in ensuring we can continue offering our full range of services to clients. As an Assurance Manager within BPM’s Assurance practice, you will provide strategic oversight of the firm’s audit quality management system and champion a culture of audit excellence. You will help shape the firm’s long‑term quality strategy, influence audit methodology, and guide the development of future leaders.

Oversee multiple engagements and resolve all legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during the audit engagement. Supervise and manage services to our clients,



which include preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting engagement budgets, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and financial reporting. Research, understand and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.

Develop, motivate and mentor staff by providing training, regular feedback and career guidance while fostering a team workplace. Draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements by knowing the range of firm services. Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote‑first operations, promoting paperless workflows through digital collaboration tools, participating in recycling initiatives to minimize paper use, and consistently demonstrating alignment with BPM’s values.

S. accounting standards (GAAP), regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements. Manage complex engagements involving multi‑jurisdictional financial reporting, U.S. tax law, and international business practices. S. specific regulatory changes, risk management, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance across diverse markets. based clients, including higher volume, complexity, and risk exposure.

Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining the CPA. BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 5+ years’ experience in public accounting in a variety of industries including Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial services, or Non‑Profits;

Experience auditing complex accounts like inventory, revenue, equity / stock options, etc. S. accounting credentials may be required.



$In accordance with Ontario’s pay transparency legislation, the posted compensation range, if applicable, will reflect the scope and responsibilities associated with the role. Hours of work and travel expectations may vary based on role scope and are considered in determining compensation. These factors, along with credential requirements and market benchmarks, are incorporated into compensation ranges to ensure alignment with industry standards and the specialized expertise required.

Compensation includes base salary and any non‑discretionary bonuses or commissions. If the top of the compensation range exceeds $200,000 annually, specific details will be provided during the recruitment process instead of being posted, in compliance with legislation.
