We are currently looking for a Vehicle Upfitting Technician to join our Ottawa team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble and install a variety of commercial vehicle equipment and accessories.

Responsibilities

- Assemble and install commercial vehicle equipment, including shelving units, ladder racks, partitions, flooring, truck caps and other accessories.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow installation specifications, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Assist with shipping and receiving when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Valid driver's licence with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive, mechanical, construction, installation or a related trade.
- Technical or trade school education may be considered toward experience.




- Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to stand, kneel and crouch for extended periods, climb ladders and lift 50+ lbs.

What We Offer

- Starting wage: $21.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience.
- Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
