GB Autos & Trucks is an independent European auto repair and collision shop on The Queensway in Etobicoke. We have been at this for over 21 years. We specialize in Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo, and we also run a collision department, a fleet program and a used car operation.

We hold a 4.8 Google rating across more than 700 reviews, and the theme running through them is that customers get told the truth. We are an ASE Mastertech certified shop.

THE ROLE

You own the customer relationship from the first phone call through delivery. Writing repair orders, translating technical findings into plain language, quoting accurately, keeping people updated by text and email, and making sure the car goes back better than it arrived.

What this job is not: we do not run a menu you are required to push. We do not want you selling anyone a service they do not need. Our reputation is the asset and you would be its custodian.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Service advisor experience with European vehicles. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, VW or Volvo, at a dealership or an independent specialist.

The technical literacy to read a technician's findings and explain them to a customer who is not technical.

Comfort quoting and closing without pressure selling.

Valid Ontario driver's licence.

Shop management software experience is an asset. Collision estimating is a bonus, not a requirement.

COMPENSATION

Base salary from $50,000, higher depending on experience.

Plus commission, two components that stack: 1% of total shop labour, so you share in how the whole shop performs,



and 2% to 5% of the gross profit you generate, so what you write is what you earn.

We pay on gross profit rather than sales dollars on purpose. You are not rewarded for padding a ticket or discounting to close one. You are rewarded for doing the work properly.

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm, rotating with our other advisors. This is a real rotation, not five weekdays plus every Saturday.
