Position: AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with robust hands-on expertise in AWS architecture, networking, security, disaster recovery, automation, DevOps, and cloud operations. The candidate will be responsible for designing and managing secure, highly available, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AWS networking including VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, VPC Endpoints, PrivateLink, Peering, Route Tables, NACLs, ALB/NLB, subnetting, and CIDR management.
- Design and support highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant AWS architectures.
- Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions aligned with RTO/RPO requirements.
- Manage AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery, AWS Backup, S3 MRAP, RDS and Redshift cross-region replication.
- Lead cross-region DR testing and recovery activities, including recovery in us-east-1.
- Manage IAM, IAM Identity Center, Control Tower, Landing Zone, KMS, Security Hub, AWS Config, and tagging governance.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform and/or Cloud Formation.
- Manage GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runners, Git workflows, and Ansible automation.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems, including patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Provision and support Amazon Bedrock, Sage Maker, EC2, and provide basic troubleshooting for Lambda and Glue.
- Monitor AWS environments using Cloud Watch and build custom dashboards and alerts.
- Analyze AWS costs and identify cost optimization and resource utilization opportunities.
- Prepare weekly/monthly AWS billing, utilization, and performance reports for management
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud/AWS/Infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS architecture and networking.
- Expertise in AWS Security, IAM, DR, and multi-region architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform/Cloud Formation, GitLab CI/CD, Git, and Ansible.
- Good experience with Linux and Windows administration.
- Experience with AWS monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and cost optimization.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
