This role is based on a contract that may involve part time hours or more based on business needs. It will begin with part-time hours. We seek an individual with high professional standards and extremely strong work ethic.
While this role is mainly a teaching role, the candidate should be willing to work with the team to be able to provide and get feedback as well as contribute to business ideas and growth.
We believe in a long-term relationship with all our staff so this can be a great role for someone who is looking for a part-time role in teaching on an on-going, consistent basis.
The classes can run during weekdays and/or weekends (mornings/afternoons) and evening availability is an asset.
Please note that the candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada, sponsorship or relocation is not provided.
Requirements under technical expertise
- B.A.M.S in Ayurveda
- Registered Herbalist in Ontario
- 4 years of industry working experience or, 2 years of teaching experience
Skills requirement
- Strong proficiency in English language
- Ability to develop, consolidate and present information
- Creative with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to work as a team
- Technologically savvy and apt in using new methods used to deliver in-class training (PowerPoint, Video instruction, etc).
- Resourceful within the industry with strong connections and vast knowledge of Ayurveda as a career and Ayurveda as a subject
- Driven by robust work ethic and integrity
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
