We are looking for a passionate and experienced bread baker to join our team! If you love working with dough, thrive in a fun and fast-paced environment, and have a desire to learn all aspects of baking, we would love to meet you!
Key responisbilities
- Scaling, mixing, shaping and proofing bread doughs
- Preparations of sticky buns and scones
- Prep baking, including scaling, mixing and baking cakes, cookies, bars and muffins. Preparation of icings, fillings and dips.
- Cake decorating
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, including dishes and ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards
What we're looking for: A successful candidate will have:
- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of post secondary Baking and Pastry Arts program
- Professional baking experience in a similar setting
- A valid Food Safe certificate
Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess:
- A friendly and positive attitude
- The ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and common sense
- The ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and basic math skills
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30kg
- Punctuality and strong work ethic

- Flexible hours depending on shift needs ( shifts range between 4am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday)
