Join the team at Cottage Bakery. We are currently hiring a part-time or full-time Baker’s Assistant. We’re looking for someone:

- With professional baking experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Is available early mornings/ has a car and can drive to work.
- Prioritizes cleanliness and organization
- Has good time management skills
- ·Who has positive communication skills and can work well in a team or independently
- Has a positive attitude in the workplace
- Who has a passion for baking and a desire to learn and grow in the role

Responsibilities for this role include:
- Baking with industrial ovens and proofers




- Helping prepare bread dough, puff pastries, croissants, cinnamon buns and more
- Preparing orders and deliveries for our other locations
- Maintaining clean workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Follow recipes accurately and assist in maintaining inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards

Job Overview Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
